Sales Staff
Lyle McCullough
(Vice President and General Manager) originally
studied architecture and structural engineering in college and
then worked for an Architectural firm designing commercial and
residential buildings. Unfortunately, he became one of the
casualties of layoffs during the early 1990's recession. A year
later he was asked to join a pipe fabrication company in
Fontana, CA. Thinking it would only be temporary, he agreed but
later found it to be permanent. His ability to layout, fabricate
and weld steel pipe became very useful and quickly found himself
working for various fabricators of cement lined and coated steel
piping. His diversified abilities of designing the pipe fittings
and his ability to fabricate helped thrust him into the
industry. He even learned how to apply cement lining on small
diameter fittings. After He was hired by West Coast Pipe Linings
in 1998, Lyle lost the desire to go back into the architectural
field and made a permanent career change. Lyle was later
promoted to Sales Manager in 2001 and then took over the company
as Vice President and General Manager in 2008.
Ivan
Vukosav (Sales and Estimating Manager)
started in the manufacturing industry with United Concrete
Pipe (a manufacturer of welded steel pipe, pre-stressed concrete
cylinder pipe, and reinforced concrete pipe) while studying
civil engineering and information technology (IT) at California
State Polytechnic University - Pomona. When his career focus
shifted to business he transitioned from engineering to sales
and estimating where his engineering and IT experience was of
great asset. He was with United Concrete Pipe for 9 years until
taken over by a corporate raider. The welded steel pipe division
was sold off to California Steel Pressure Pipe which shut down 3
years later. Seeking stability he transitioned into the IT field
where he worked for 5 years as a Systems Administrator for
Caltrol (a distributor of control valves). Although the IT field
was interesting his true passion was in manufacturing. He
re-entered the manufacturing field as a Project Manager for the
Spa and Bath division of Pentair (an international manufacturer
of spa and bath products). When the housing market crashed the
future of the Spa and Bath division was questionable.
Fortunately, an opportunity to join the sales team at West Coast
Pipe presented itself which was a perfect fit and he was soon
promoted to Sales Manager. Ivan holds a B.S. in Business
Administration from the University of La Verne, an A.S. in
Mechanical Design Drafting from Citrus College, and Microsoft
certification in Systems Administration.
Frank Luna
(Account Manager) started work at Cement Lining Specialties in 1977 as Plant Superintendent after 20 years in management with Chevron Oil of Southern California. Frank continued to move up in the company until 1983 when he was asked if he would join West Coast Pipe where he contributed greatly to much of the early machinery design and production implementation. Frank was promoted to Sales in 1984 where he currently enjoys a vast customer base. His knowledge and friendly demeanor has furthered his commitment to his customers.
